Welcome to AIMday Precision Medicine.

Queen's University Belfast will host AIMday Precision Medicine: Preclinical Science to Trial-Ready Cohorts, bringing together academics, industry partners, clinicians, healthcare organisations, regulators, charities and patient-focused organisations to explore shared challenges and opportunities in precision medicine.

The event will provide a collaborative forum to discuss how innovations in biomedical research, engineering, advanced diagnostics, data analytics, artificial intelligence and clinical research can accelerate the development and deployment of personalised healthcare solutions. Focus will be given to the creation and utilisation of trial-ready patient cohorts, enabling more efficient clinical research, innovation and translation into practice.

Why Precision Medicine?

Precision Medicine is an emerging global priority with the potential to transform prevention, diagnosis and treatment by tailoring healthcare interventions to individual patients. It combines advances in biomedical science, genomics, engineering, clinical research, digital technologies and data analytics to move beyond traditional one-size-fits-all approaches to healthcare.
