AIMday for organisations – AIMday
AIMday
What is AIMday?

One challenge. One hour. Endless possibilities.

AIMday for organisations

Your challenge is the starting point

AIMday is not a research conference in the traditional sense. Far from it, in fact. Instead, AIMday is based on the concrete challenges that companies and organisations face and want to address together with researchers in relevant fields. In other words, it is the challenges that you define as important for your business that form the basis for the meeting with researchers. You register your challenge, or challenges if you have several, when you register for an AIMday event.

AIMday offers a valuable platform for seamless collaboration between industries and university researchers, facilitating the exchange of research challenges and potential solutions. This event provides an excellent opportunity to draw inspiration for future research topics, explore potential collaborations, and expand your professional network.

Find paths to solutions

Based on the theme of the AIMday you want to participate in, you formulate your challenge(s). Academic researchers with an interest and expertise in the domains of your particular challenges can then register. On the AIMday itself, you will together explore possible solutions that could lead to future collaborations. The goal is not for you to leave the conversation with a ready-made answer, but rather with new and deeper knowledge, new perspectives and ideas. In addition, you will gain valuable contacts that can lead to more conversations and continued collaboration in various forms.

Get help finding your way in

It can sometimes be difficult to find the right path into academia. AIMday as an event can make it easier for you and give you the opportunity to gain insight into different research areas. You get a chance to keep up with developments, get new perspectives on challenges and problems, equip yourself with new ideas and knowledge and further develop your own skills. Perhaps the researchers already have methods and tools to help you progress in your challenges?

By starting with the challenges you confront in your own workplace, AIMday makes it easier for researchers who are interested in your particular issue to register and start a dialogue about the challenges your organisation or company is facing.

Participation is free of charge

The AIMday event itself is free of charge for participants from companies, organisations and researchers. Here large, small and medium-sized companies, civil society organisations, authorities and other public organisations can gather around a theme that unites them – an interest in creating new contacts and acquiring new knowledge in a specific area.
