Mathematics and Energy 2026

Math, Climate and Energy meet Industry

We aim to create connections between academia and industry. Monash Maths+Climate+Energy meets Industry provides a forum for the exchange of knowledge and ideas focused on finding approaches to real-world challenges.

The day-long agenda is built around a series of facilitated 1-hour ideation discussions, each centred on a company’s question, curated in advance within the limits of the specific topic.

Our strengths include pure mathematics, applied mathematics, statistics, probability, numerical analysis, image analysis, machine learning, AI, data analysis, optimization, simulation and modeling, chemistry, physics, biology.

The event is co-hosted by the School of Mathematics, Climate Change Science Hub, the Faculty of Science, the AI Institute, at Monash University.

The event will take place on July 24th at the ground floor of 9 Rainforest Walk, Clayton Campus. For any question, please contact andrea.collevecchio@monash.edu for any question related to Aimday
