Smart Industries

AIMday Smart Industries is a meeting focused on bringing academic researchers and company representatives together.

The new generation of industrial smart devices are autonomous and selfadaptive, are capable of interoperability and to take independent decisions. The synergy of these physical and computational elements, embedded with Machine Intelligence and Data-Driven Behaviour, forms the base for a profound transformation of the global industry that has been characterized as Smart Industry.

We look forward to welcoming companies, organisations and academic researchers to this event on , to discuss specific industry challenges in Smart Industries.

AIMday Smart Industries will take place on May 19th, 2016.

Registration for companies’ questions is open and will close on February 17th. Registration for academic scientists will open February 24th and close on April 1th. Registration for all participants is free of charge.

Working with us

AIMday Smart Industries in Belo Horizonte on the 19th of May is connected to the Brazil – Sweden Excellence Seminar during 16-18 May in Brasilia, organized by Swedish Academic Collaboration Forum (SACF) in cooperation with CAPES. The purpose is to initiate collaborations between Swedish and Brazilian researchers and companies.

SACF is a project funded by the Swedish Foundation for International Cooperation in Research and Higher Education, STINT where six leading Swedish universities, Uppsala University, Linköping University, Lund University, Chalmers, KTH Royal Institute of Technology and Stockholm University, have joined forces to carry out research seminars in selected countries. During 2015 successful seminars have taken place in South Korea, Singapore and China and during 2016 the turn has come to Indonesia and Brazil.

The delegation from Sweden for the Brasilia event will include approximately 50 researchers plus representatives from the Swedish government, high-level university management and funding agencies.
