Transformation of today’s transport system into a sustainable system which meets the energy and environmental targets set by various governments and organizations worldwide, requires contributions from a wide range of disciplines. The challenges confronting future transport are so complex that no player is able to solve them alone. Therefore, it is necessary to employ a multi-disciplinary and a multi-stakeholder approach.
